Board of Directors

President: Brent Ludwig

Brent has an MBA/JD degree from the Shulich School of Business/Osgoode Hall Law School. A reformed lawyer by training, Brent now runs his own boutique headhunting firm, and has been a very dedicated volunteer for numerous organizations in Calgary helping accomplish many major community initiatives. He has been engaged with the Club for years as a Coach and currently has a son playing U15 and a daughter playing U13.

Vice-President: John Enever

John is a Professional Licensee with APEGA and is currently working in the energy industry. He grew up in Calgary and has played soccer his entire life, and currently plays on a Masters men’s team. He is a licensed coach and has volunteered his time coaching with various clubs in Calgary, including WHU. He brings a wealth of soccer experience and relationships to WHU.

Treasurer: Allison Carson

Allison has B. Mgmnt. from the University of Lethbridge and is a CA. She is currently engaged as the Manager of Financial Reporting with a Calgary-based intermediate Oil & Gas producer. She has two children playing with WHU at the Grassroots level with a third starting this summer. She brings a solid financial background and skill set to our Board.

VP Operations: Bryan Galambos

Bryan has a degree in Computer Science/GIS and a Masters in Information Security. He is currently working as a Technical Business Analyst at an energy company. Bryan has completed numerous coaching courses including his Canada Soccer C license. He is currently the coordinator for WHU’s U7-U10 Juniors teams and coaches his sons U13B team.

Eric Boechler (Past President)

Eric has been a part of WHU for over 14 years, and as president for over half a decade, he has seen the club through many ups and downs, including its transition from Signal Hill Soccer Club and the uncertainty of the Covid pandemic. He has put thousands of volunteer hours into making the club what it is today, and also coaches his son’s U17 team.

Hooda Hassen

Hooda joined the board in 2022 as a Director-at-large. Hooda has a teaching degree from the U of C and teaches Special Ed for the CBE. She brings strong organizational skills to the Board and an affinity for managing teams and organizing club social events.

Darci-Jane (DJ) McAulay

Darci-Jane (DJ) McAulay is a graduate in Public Relations from Royal Roads University, Corporate Citizenship from Boston College and Broadcast News from SAIT. DJ has built a career in marketing, communications and engagement, and is currently working for a reserve evaluations engineering firm. She is the mother of two wonderful children and is committed to serving her community. She has volunteered as a coach for both her son’s and daughter’s soccer teams at WHU, and currently serves as the manager of the U12G Sparks.
